10 bad habits that are ruining your skin everyday

    Proper skin care is very important because our skin is the biggest barrier against internal infections. However, there are habits that unknowingly damage your skin.

1. Washing your face too much

Cleansing is certainly a good habit, but overdoing it will do more harm than good. Washing your face too much is bad for your skin because it strips your skin of its natural oils and moisture, making it more vulnerable to pollutants and bacteria. This also happens if you over-exfoliate.

2. Do not use sunscreen regularly

The sun’s UV rays can do a lot of damage to the skin. If your skin is overexposed without protection, there is a high chance that early signs of aging will appear such as dry and dull skin, deep grooves, fine lines and wrinkles.

3. Skip the chest and neck

While moisturizing our face, we tend to ignore the neck and chest. We often don’t understand that these two areas are where the first signs of aging appear. So make sure you moisturize both your neck and chest the next time you moisturize your face.

4. Sleep with makeup on

Our skin is exposed to pollution, dirt and oil and all of these build up on the surface of the skin creating breakouts, acne, clogged pores and dryness. If you’re too tired, remember to keep some face wipes by the bedside table.

5. Do not wipe mobile phones

Talking on the phone for long hours is bad for the skin because cell phones are a perfect breeding ground for bacteria, which can lead to pimples on the face, jawline and chin. Make sure that you clean your phone regularly.

6. Using a dirty makeup brush

Dirty makeup brushes are also home to a lot of bacteria and if not cleaned regularly can cause acne. Clean your makeup brushes with a mild soap once a week.

7. Insufficient sleep

When you don’t sleep well, your skin is not able to repair itself or repair itself and this often leads to dull, tired skin with dark circles and puffiness.

8. Switch products often

If you change products too often, you are damaging your skin. If you want to change your product, you can do so as the climate changes.

9. Do not shower after exercise

Not showering after sweating leads to some big pimples. So make sure you take some time to shower after your workout.

10. Applying too much moisturizer

If you apply too much moisturizer, your skin will lose its ability to adjust to different environments. You should only use a sufficient amount of moisturizer, to be safe you should consult your doctor before use.
