This site helps parents in Nepal find baby girl names. Names are grouped by rashi, first letter, community and meaning, in Nepali and English. The information is for guidance only; make the final choice with your family and a priest or astrologer.

नामका अर्थ कसरी राखिन्छ / How we handle meanings
- अर्थ पक्का भएमा मात्र लेखिन्छ।
- शंका भए “अर्थ पुष्टि गर्नुहोस् / verify meaning” लेखिन्छ।
- उत्पत्ति, संस्कृत मूल वा प्रसिद्ध व्यक्तिको नाम पक्का भएमा मात्र राखिन्छ।
- छोरीका नामको सूचीमा केटाका नाम मिसाइँदैन।
A meaning is written only when we are confident. Doubtful ones are marked "verify meaning". Origins, Sanskrit roots and famous people are listed only when certain, and boy names are not mixed into girl-name lists.
