यो साधनले नामको पहिलो अक्षर मात्र हेर्छ। म, क, र जस्ता अ-ध्वनिका अक्षरलाई तालिकाको मा, का, रा अक्षर मानिन्छ। जन्मराशि चाहिँ जन्म मिति, समय र ठाउँअनुसार ज्योतिषीले निकाल्छन्।
This tool only looks at the first letter of the name. A short a-sound such as म, क or र is read as the chart letter मा, का or रा. The birth rashi itself is worked out by an astrologer from the birth date, time and place.

Short and long vowel signs (ि/ी, ु/ू) are treated as the same when matching, since names are spelled in different ways.
